Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 19 January 2021 at about 21:30 at the intersection of Yuzrabod and Kozeva streets, a collision of two vehicles a Damas car and a VAZ-2115 car occurred.

As a result of the road accident, the passengers of the VAZ-2115 car - 18-year-old native of Bukhara region D.B. and 19-year-old M.Zh. - died at the scene of the accident. 

In addition, the driver of the VAZ-2115 and his passenger, a 27-year-old native ofBukhara region, Shakhrizod Sh. were injured and were hospitalized.

The preliminary cause of the accident: the driver of the Damas car did not let the VAZ-2115 car moving in a straight line when turning. As a result, the latter lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree at the side of the road. 

On this fact, a criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime provided for by part 3 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. An investigation is underway.
