Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Two trains collided each other in the tunnel between the Almazar and Bekat-1 stations of the Sergeli branch of the Tashkent metro. This was reported by the press service of Uzbekiston Temir Yollari.

The report notes that on 18 March, at about 20:00, a small collision of 2 trains took place in the tunnel between the stations Almazar (Chilanzar branch) and Bekat-1 (Sergeli branch).

According to preliminary data, when leaving the portal of the station "Almazar" (at 1 km picket 2), the driver of train No. 5, having found a foreign object on the railway track, made a stop. The driver of the following train # 9 made a collision with the tail car of the stopped train # 5. 

“There were no injured drivers or passengers. The movement of trains has been restored and is carried out along the adjacent track,” the statement reads.
