Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 30 January, during the night duty at the Sergeli-1 station of the Tashkent metro, the station attendant M.M. and cleaner M.S. came to the workplace in a state of intoxication.

As specified, station duty officer M.M. and senior operator G.I. went to a cafe before starting work to celebrate the birthday of cleaning lady M.S., and employees M.M. and M.S. drank alcoholic beverages. Also, for gross violations of labor discipline by their actions, employment contracts concluded with the duty station of the traffic service M.M. and the cleaner of the station M.S., were terminated on the basis of paragraph 4 of part two of Article 100 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and paragraph 2 of Appendix 1 to the “Rules of the internal labor regulations of the Tashkent metro” (arrival at work or during working hours in a state of alcohol, drugs, psychotropic or narcotic intoxication, if this is confirmed by the testimony of witnesses or a medical report).
