Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 23 December 2021, a 23-year-old resident of the city of Namangan appealed to the Department of Internal Affairs with a statement. 

She asked to take legal action against an unknown person who, on the same day, at about 04.30 o’clock, stole items worth 4 million soums from a cart with bijouterie located in the recreation park of the city of Namangan. This was reported by the press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Namangan region.

As a result of operational-search and investigative actions carried out by the police officers, it was established that this crime was committed by residents of Naryn district, a 28-year-old citizen and a 27-year-old citizen.

On this fact, a criminal case was initiated under part 2 of Article 169 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 27 December 2021, under the Criminal Code of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the city of Namangan.
