Two people died as a result of an accident in Navoi

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On the night of 15 January, a fatal traffic accident occurred in Navoi. As a result of the accident, two people died.

According to the press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of Navoi region, the accident occurred on Islam Karimov Street at about 2:00.

The driver of the Volkswagen ID6 Сrozz Pro crossover collided from behind with a Matiz that was standing at a prohibitory traffic light.

Two Matiz passengers who were in the back seat died from their injuries at the scene.

The Investigation Department at Navoi Internal Affairs Directorate is conducting a pre-investigation check.
