Two Interpol-Listed Individuals Extradited from the UAE to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Two individuals wanted through Interpol channels have been extradited from the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Uzbekistan, the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Uzbekistan reported.

Thanks to close cooperation and coordination between the National Central Bureaus of Interpol in Tashkent and Abu Dhabi, the two individuals, who were internationally wanted for serious crimes, were handed over.

The increase in extraditions has been made possible by established bilateral relations and negotiations between the National Central Bureaus, based on existing international agreements and in full compliance with measures to combat transnational crime.

The individuals are wanted by Uzbek law enforcement authorities on charges related to economic and property crimes committed within the country.

They will soon appear in court to face criminal prosecution.
