Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 15 February, the passage of citizens and vehicles through the border customs posts of the Syrdarya regional customs department "Syrdarya" and the Tashkent regional customs department "S. Najimov. This was reported by the press service of the Customs Committee of Uzbekistan.

The posts are temporarily closed due to the reconstruction of the Atameken (Syrdarya) and Kazigurt (S. Najimov) checkpoints in Kazakhstan.

The Customs Committee notes that cargo vehicles with a carrying capacity of more than 3.5 tons can cross the border at these points during the reconstruction.

Citizens are called to move through the Gishtkuprik and Yallama checkpoints, which operate around the clock, as well as the Malik and Ok Oltin checkpoints, which operate during daylight hours.
