Two branches of the Tashkent university to open in Shahrisabz

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Government resolutions set up branches of the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami and the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology in the city of Shahrisabz.

Resolutions define the main tasks of the branches.

The educational process in these branches starts from the 2019/2020 school year, and the number of students enrolled is determined on the basis of admission quotas to higher educational institutions of the Republic, approved annually in the prescribed manner.

Also, resolutions approved the composition of the boards of trustees of these Branches.

Buildings and facilities of the Shakhrisabz Academic Lyceum at Karshi State University were transferred to the branch of the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami, and the buildings and facilities of the Shakhrisabz vocational college of light industry were transferred to the branch of the Tashkent Chemical Technology Institute.

Students of the specified academic lyceum and vocational college will continue the educational process in the branch buildings until they graduate.
