Twelve Companies Recognized as Having Predominant Bargaining Power In Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Twelve business entities have been recognized as possessing predominant bargaining power, according to the results of extensive analytical studies conducted by the territorial offices of the Competition Development Committee across Uzbekistan.
The analysis examined the activities of key participants in goods and financial markets, as well as the competitive environment in the sectors of household waste collection and disposal, and the provision of access to railway lines.
Following the review, in accordance with Article 14 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Competition,” certain companies were officially recognized as having predominant bargaining power in the territories assigned to them. Relevant decisions were formalized through orders issued by the territorial bodies of the Committee.
In Tashkent region, companies operating in household waste collection and disposal that received this status include Zangiota Obodon LLC, Rahnamo Servis LLC, and Angren Bunyod Fayz LLC. In Fergana region, predominant bargaining power was granted to Maxsus Garant Avto Servis and Vodiy Maxsus Sanitar Trans, also operating in the waste management sector.
In Surkhandarya region, similar status was conferred to the state unitary enterprise Surxondaryo viloyati Toza Hudud, as well as Bio Texno Eko LLC, Bio-Tex-Eko LLC—including its branches in Sariosiyo and Uzun districts—Qiziriq-Invest LLC, and Sale Kingdom LLC.
In the sector of services for providing access to railway lines, Petromaruz Uzbekistan LLC was recognized as having predominant bargaining power, while in Syrdarya region, Ulug‘bek Yangiyer Qurilish LLC received the same designation for its services related to railway infrastructure.

For reference, according to Article 14 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Competition,” predominant bargaining power is defined as the ability of a business entity or a group of persons to unilaterally influence the terms of a transaction, the territory of goods distribution, or pricing levels, without holding a dominant market position.
