Turnover of UZSE makes up 61.2bn soums in Jan-Feb 2016
In two months, the exchange recorded 659 deals, which rose five times compared to the same period of 2015.
Overall, the exchange traded 25.7 million securities with 36 joint stock companies.
Deals for 35.2 billion soums (57.6% of total deals) were recorded in the IPO market. The share of the IPO market in the UZSE rose due to additional issues of shares. Ipoteka Bank placed 21.7 billion soums (61.6% of total IPO market) and InFinBank – 10.7 billion soums (30.5%) were placed in the IPO market in January-February 2016.
The secondary market recorded deals for 25.9 billion soums or 42.4% of total deals. The deals volume decrease by 17.6% (31.5 billion soums).
About 61.3% of exchange deals or 37.5 billion soums fell to share of enterprises of financial sector. Agri-industrial complex accounted 3.1% or 1.9 billion soums of deals in the reporting period, industrial sector – 2.5% or 1.5 billion soums, etc.
