Turnover of UZSE hits 1.4 bn soums in March

In the reporting period, the exchange recorded 66 deals with 4.4 million shares of 28 issuers, according to the UZSE.

The deals were recorded only in the secondary market. The exchange noted that the main figures decreased in March 2014 compared to the same month of 2013.

The largest deal of the month was recorded on 6 March, when 2.5 million shares of Kapital Sugurta were realized to 0.4 billion soums.

The average volume of exchange deal in March made up 21.1 milion soums (82.9 million soums in March 2013).

The average daily volume of the deals was 87.1 million soums in March 2014 against 368.4 million soums in March 2013.

The average price of one security reached 314.5 soums in March 2014 against 1,184.3 soums in the same month of 2013.

About 67.5%of deals or 0.9 billion soums were conducted with shares of financial institutions, of which 28.6% or 0.4 billion soums fell to share of the banks, 37.3% or 0.5 billion soums – to insurance companies and 1.6% or 0.02 billion soums – leasing companies.
