Turnover of securities market hit 904bn soums in 1Q

Total turnover of shares and corporate bonds made up 903.8 billion soums, which rose by 3.5 times compared to the first quarter of 2015, according to preliminary data of the State Competition Committee of Uzbekistan.
Total turnover of the secondary market of shares and corporate bonds was 55.8 billion soums, including organized market – 30.3 billion soums (878 deals) and un-organized market – 15.9 billion soums (550 deals).
Deals for 9.6 billion soums were recorded in the secondary corporate bonds market in the reporting period.
