Turkish Investors to boost jewelryindustry in Ferghana
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A new jewelry production line under the brand “Fargo-Gold” will soon be launched in Ferghana, Uzbekistan, with support from Turkish investors.
Ferghana Region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov met with Turkish investors to discuss opportunities for developing the local jewelry industry. During the meeting, the “Fargo-Gold” production project was unveiled, with manufacturing set to begin in May of this year.
The initiative is expected to create 300 new jobs and contribute to the economic growth of the region. Governor Bozorov highlighted the considerable potential of Uzbekistan’s jewelry sector and expressed confidence that locally made products would eventually gain recognition in international markets.
In addition to the jewelry project, the Turkish investors also showed interest in launching new ventures in Fergana’s construction industry. The proposals were welcomed by the Uzbek side, which reaffirmed its commitment to fostering mutually beneficial cooperation.
