Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov today received Turkish Ambassador Mehmet Sureyya Era, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the meeting discussed topical issues of the Uzbek-Turkish agenda.
The progress of the implementation of the agreements reached within the framework of contacts at the highest level, including the first meeting of the Uzbek-Turkish Strategic Cooperation Council held in Ankara in 2020, chaired by the heads of state of the two countries, was discussed.
They also exchanged views on the schedule and agenda of upcoming bilateral events at various levels.
The Minister noted the fruitful nature of the Ambassador's activities in Uzbekistan and expressed gratitude to him for his significant contribution to strengthening interstate relations.
Mehmet Sureyya Er, in turn, thanked for the assistance and support in his activities as the Ambassador of Turkey.
