Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Turkish Airlines operated its first flight from Istanbul to Ferghana on 8 June. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan.

The plane was solemnly greeted at the Ferghana international airport.

About 165 passengers flew to Ferghana on the first flight, 137 passengers flew from Ferghana to Istanbul.

Flights in the direction of Istanbul-Ferghana-Istanbul will be operated on Tuesdays and Fridays.
