Tura Bobolov becomes khokim of Surkhandarya region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An extraordinary session of the Surkhandarya Regional Council of People’s Deputies was held in the city of Termez. During the session, a new khokim of Surkhandarya region was appointed.

During the session, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev proposed the candidacy of Tura Bobolov for the post of khokim of Surkhandarya region.

Members of the Surkhandarya Regional Council of People’s Deputies supported the candidacy of Bobolov and elected him as khokim of Surkhandarya region.

In April 2019, Tura Bobolov was appointed as acting khokim of Surkhandarya Region.

Prior to that, he served as First Deputy khokim of Surkhandarya Region in economics and entrepreneurship.
