Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Government resolution "On improving the procedure for planting, caring for and using trees and shrubs that are not included in the State Forest Fund" (No. 464 of 22.08.2022) was adopted.
According to the resolution, planting trees and shrubs in the form of compensation does not exempt from payment of the fee for issuing a permit to cut trees or fines for their illegal felling.
Compensatory plantings are selected from the "Green Gardens" and "Green Public Parks", as well as other areas intended for landscaping and landscaping.
Trees left unattended until 31 December 2022 will be registered and attached to the owners in the immediate vicinity.
Khokimiyats approve a targeted program for the volume of planting seedlings until 1 September and for spring planting until 1 February.
Up to 2 percent of additional resources of local budgets are allocated for measures to combat pests and diseases of trees and shrubs.
The resolution approved the Regulations on the procedure for planting, caring for and using trees and shrubs that are not included in the State Forest Fund.
The regulation determines the procedure for choosing places for planting trees and shrubs, their planting, watering, fertilizing and pruning.
