Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 3 June, Deputy Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jasurbek Choriyev met with Director General of the Civil Aviation Development Department of the Ministry for Road and Transport Development of Mongolia, Ms. Munkhtui Chimeddorj.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries in the transport sector.

In particular, issues related to the conclusion between the governments of Uzbekistan and Mongolia of an agreement on air traffic and international road transport were considered.

In order to develop cooperation in the field of international road transport, create favorable conditions for national carriers, open new transport corridors, study the current market situation, the parties agreed to exchange permit forms before signing the relevant intergovernmental agreement. 

Following the meeting, a protocol of understanding was signed between the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry for the Development of Roads and Transport of Mongolia.
