Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 23 October 2025, the international specialized exhibition HoReCa Expo Uzbekistan 2025, organized with the support of the Tourism Committee, continued its work in Tashkent.

The third day of the event focused on developing human capital, professional training, and investments in education in the tourism and hospitality sectors.

The day’s program included thematic sessions discussing key aspects of training qualified specialists, improving educational standards, and introducing a dual education system that combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills.

Particular attention was given to developing professional competencies that meet international standards and the evolving demands of the global tourism industry.

The discussions brought together representatives of the Tourism Committee, the Association of Hoteliers of Uzbekistan, international universities, and specialized educational institutions. Experts shared successful experiences in implementing innovative approaches to training professionals for the hotel and restaurant industries.

It was noted that an effective human resource development system is a key factor in strengthening the competitiveness of the national tourism sector.

At the conclusion of the discussions, participants emphasized the importance of integrating education, business, and government efforts to create a sustainable system of professional growth. This approach, they noted, helps improve service quality and attract investment into the hospitality sector.

As part of the third day of HoReCa Expo Uzbekistan 2025, several memorandums of cooperation were signed to promote human capital development and expand international partnerships in the field of tourism.

The educational initiatives presented during the forum demonstrated Uzbekistan’s commitment to building a modern ecosystem of professional education that supports sustainable development and fosters innovation in the tourism industry.
