Training pedagogic specialists discussed in Tashkent

Uzbekistan carries out wide-scale work on strengthening material and technical base, reconstruction of universities and their equipment with new technologies. Currently, buildings of the 56 universities were repaired. The work on further improving curriculum and educational programmes is underway.

The presidential decree “On measures on further improving system of re-training and improving skills of officials and teachers of higher educational institutions” from 12 June 2015 is directed at further improving quality of training of teachers.

At the event, it was noted that the educational plan on course of training of officials and teachers of the universities was developed. Special attention is paid to use of ICT, advanced educational and pedagogic methods, studying foreign languages, etc.

At the same time, it is planned to update qualification requirement to teachers, educational plans, programmes and methods of teaching, the meeting said.

During the meeting, the participants expressed their proposals on ensuring implementation of the presidential decree “On measures on further improving system of re-training and improving skills of officials and teachers of higher educational institutions” from 12 June 2015.
