Training on identifying health problems to be organized by the National Chamber

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- For the continuous development of healthcare, it is important to master modern approaches to solving existing problems. The National Chamber of Innovative Healthcare of Uzbekistan plans to train such approaches in partnership with Integral Global Health.

In particular, within the framework of this cooperation, preparations are underway for training under the Process Improvement Program (PM). It is learning how to identify a problem, find its causes, design and take action to solve the problem, and analyze the results of change.

The PM algorithm, which is successfully used in the health care of many countries, allows not only solving emerging issues, but also doing it, often without attracting additional resources.

At the training scheduled for June, over 3 days, Integral Global Health expert Dr. Brian Roby will train groups of participants who will then disseminate this effective methodology to other healthcare professionals. That is, this is the so-called TOT - “training for trainers”.

During the recent online discussion of the tasks of the upcoming training, representatives of the National Chamber and its partner noted that the introduction of such a modern method as "Process improvement" helps to diagnose and effectively solve public health problems.

A good example of such problems is, for example, the process of compulsory vaccination of children. In the presence of seemingly all the conditions - a vaccine, free medical service, notification of the target group, the number of vaccinated children in a particular area can reach only 50-70%. While the goal of the vaccination company was to reach 100% of children. The application of the "Process improvement" algorithm in such a situation will reveal the real causes of the problem and find ways to eliminate it. As practice shows, the use of PM is effective for improving the situation in various areas of health care, and hence, improving medical care for people.
