Training Jet F-7 Crashes into College in Bangladesh: One Dead, Dozens Injured
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A Bangladeshi Air Force F-7 BGI training aircraft crashed in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. According to Prothom Alo, citing the fire service, one person was killed in the incident.
At least 20 people, mostly students, sustained varying degrees of injuries. All the injured were transported to the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.
Preliminary reports indicate that the jet crashed onto the roof of a college canteen in the Uttara district shortly after takeoff, at a time when classes were in session.
Firefighters and emergency response teams are working at the scene. An official investigation into the cause of the crash has been launched, reports TASS.
