Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Traffic will be temporarily restricted in the Olympic Village area of Tashkent due to the construction of an underground tunnel. This was announced by the press service of the Tashkent city administration.

According to the information, from 00:00 on 13 April to 1 September 2025, the section of the Yangiy Uzbekistan Avenue — from the CAEX exhibition complex to the entrance of the Yangiy Uzbekistan park — will be completely closed to all types of vehicles.

The underground tunnel construction is part of a large-scale infrastructure modernization in the development of the Olympic Village.

Authorities urge residents and visitors of the capital to take into account changes in traffic patterns and plan their routes in advance.
