Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 15 February, a tragic traffic accident occurred in Tashkent, in which a 19-year-old driver of a Spark vehicle struck a mother and her two children.

The incident took place around 8:15 PM on Amir Temur Avenue in the Yunusabad district. The driver, traveling at high speed, hit the pedestrians.

According to official reports, the woman was taken to a medical facility, where she received emergency treatment.

Her children also sustained serious injuries. The son suffered bruises and moderate injuries, while the daughter’s condition is critical, with multiple internal organ injuries. The mother also sustained severe injuries, and both are currently in the intensive care unit.

At present, the Tashkent Road Safety Directorate is conducting an investigative check to determine the circumstances of the incident.
