Trading Volume on UZSE Quadruples in First Nine Months of 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the first nine months of 2025, the total trading volume on the Uzbekistan Stock Exchange (UZSE) reached 14 trillion soums (US$1.09 billion), marking a fourfold increase compared to the same period in 2024 — a rise of 10.39 trillion soums.
At the same time, the number of transactions declined by 17.2%, totaling 328,375 — down by 68,285 from the corresponding period last year.
The UCI index rose by 7.01% during the reporting period, closing at 701.05 points. Meanwhile, market capitalization increased by 25.51 trillion soums, or 11% since the beginning of the year, reaching 267.93 trillion soums (US$22.20 billion).
By the end of the third quarter, the exchange’s quotation list included 135 instruments issued by 93 stock issuers.
