Trade Turnover via Electronic Document Management System In Uzbekistan Exceeded 2.57 Quadrillion Soums in 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2025, the total trade turnover based on invoices processed through operators of the electronic document management system (EDS) amounted to 2.57 quadrillion soums, including VAT.
According to tax authorities, the bulk of economic activity is concentrated in the capital region and among the country’s largest enterprises.
The leader in turnover was the Interregional State Tax Inspectorate (IRS) for major taxpayers, which accounted for more than half of the total trade turnover — 1.32 quadrillion soums. The capital city ranks second with a turnover of 535.2 trillion soums, followed by Tashkent region with 142.5 trillion soums.
In other regions, trade turnover was distributed as follows: Ferghana region — 86.0 trillion soums, Samarkand — 74.6 trillion soums, Andijan — 62.2 trillion soums, Bukhara — 52.3 trillion soums, Kashkadarya — 51.5 trillion soums, Namangan — 48.3 trillion soums, Jizzakh — 39.0 trillion soums, Khorezm — 37.5 trillion soums, Navoiy — 32.5 trillion soums, Surkhandarya — 31.5 trillion soums, Syrdarya — 30.5 trillion soums, and the Republic of Karakalpakstan — 26.2 trillion soums.
