Total number of students in general education institutions was 6.46 million people

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the beginning of the 2022/2023 academic year, the total number of students in general education institutions was 6.46 million people. 

Of these, there are 3.06 million students in grades 5-9, or 47.4% of the total number, this indicator increased by 67.2 thousand compared to the 2021/2022 academic year.
