Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the State Statistics Committee, the total number of cattle in Uzbekistan as of 1 April 2022 reached 13.31 million heads. Compared to the same period of last year, this figure grew by 3.0%.

Total number of cattle by region:

Republic of Karakalpakstan – 1.16 million heads;

Andijan – 1.08 million heads;

Bukhara – 1.28 million heads;

Jizzakh – 921,500 heads;

Kashkadarya – 1.64 million heads;

Navoi – 508,700 heads;

Namangan – 736,900 heads; 

Samarkand – 1.61 million heads; 

Surkhandarya – 996,700 heads; 

Syrdarya – 440,200 heads; 

Tashkent – 925,900 heads;

Ferghana – 1.05 million heads;

Khorezm – 949,800 heads.
