Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 15 June 2021, a round table on the topic TOBB ETU Tashkent - strong integration of science, education and production was held at the Tashkent branch of the Turkish University of Economics and Technology.

The event was attended by Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rector of the Turkish University of Economics and Technology in Tashkent A. Ikramov, Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education S. Buzrukhanov, Deputy Director of the Agency for Youth Affairs F. Omonova and a number of officials, applicants and students.

At the beginning of the event, the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, rector of the Turkish University of Economics and Technology in Tashkent A. Ikramov noted that young people in Uzbekistan have the opportunity to become highly qualified specialists with modern knowledge based on advanced educational technologies.

During the event, S. Buzrukhanov spoke about the priorities of the systemic reform of higher education, raising the process of training highly qualified personnel with modern knowledge and high moral and ethical qualities to a qualitatively new level, modernizing higher education, social education based on advanced educational technologies, on such issues as the development of industries and sectors of the economy.

During the meeting, a round table was held between the Turkish University of Economics and Technology and the Tashkent State Economic University on the development of cooperation in the field of higher education and the introduction of dual education, e-learning and distance learning in English at the branch of the Turkish University of Economics and Technology in Tashkent.

During the round table, TOBB ETU students of Tashkent University made a number of presentations on this topic.

At the end of the event, applicants and students received answers to their questions from officials.
