Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The final day of the Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF-2025) concluded with a flurry of activity, culminating in the signing of more than 20 investment agreements across diverse sectors.
Among the highlights was a strategic cooperation agreement aimed at developing an integrated system for advanced agriculture, dairy farming, and milk production. Additionally, agreements were reached on the construction of modern high-rise residential complexes and a hotel as part of the development of the “New Namangan City” area.
A supplementary agreement was signed to build new wastewater treatment facilities in the Fergana Valley and Jizzakh region — a move expected to enhance the region’s environmental sustainability.
Several memorandums of understanding were also formalized during the forum. One outlines plans to establish a vocational training center to prepare Uzbek specialists for employment in Japan. Another focuses on promoting Islamic finance to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
In addition to these, a number of other agreements were signed to further advance Uzbekistan’s construction sector, banking system, and other key areas of the national economy.
Both domestic and international partners expressed strong confidence in the outcomes, emphasizing that these agreements will inject new momentum into investment cooperation. Experts noted that such initiatives not only improve the business climate but also open up new horizons for international collaboration.
