Three Uzbek Citizens Deported from Türkiye on Fraud Charges

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Following joint investigative operations conducted by the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan and Türkiye, three citizens of Uzbekistan who were wanted internationally on fraud charges have been deported to the country.

Returned to Uzbekistan were: Ganiyon Murodillo Arabov, born in 1982, from Bukhara region; Shokhista Tuksanboy qizi Boboyusupova, born in 1992, from Samarkand region; and Gulzoda Khushvakto Mukimova, born in 1970, from Navoiy region.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan urged citizens who suffered from the actions of these individuals to contact law enforcement authorities or the country’s Consulate General in Istanbul.

The ministry emphasized that criminal prosecution of those hiding abroad will continue and that the principle of inevitable punishment remains steadfast.

In light of the increasing number of fraud reports received by the consulate, citizens are strongly advised to exercise caution and avoid falling victim to criminal schemes.
