Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Three people died as a result of a road traffic accident in Kamashi district of Kashkadarya region.

According to the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, on 17 October, at the 1223rd kilometer of the M-39 Tashkent-Termez highway, passing through the territory of the Yortepa village of Kamashi district, the Nexia driver, for an unknown reason, drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with Damas.

As a result of the accident, the drivers of Nexia and Damas, as well as one passenger, died on the spot. Another passenger in the car was hospitalized with serious injuries.

On this fact, a criminal case was initiated under paragraph "a" of part 3 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code. An investigation is underway.
