Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A 21-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan died in a traffic accident on the Ukrainian-Polish border. Two more citizens were injured and were hospitalized in a hospital in Lviv.
The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Ukraine Alisher Kurmanov said that three citizens of Uzbekistan got into an accident at the entrance to the Polish border.
As a result of the accident, one of the citizens of Uzbekistan died on the spot, having received serious bodily injuries. The remaining two compatriots are in the city hospital in the Ukrainian city of Lvov.
The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kyiv urgently sent a representative of a group of embassy volunteers, a qualified doctor Temurbek Yusupov, to the city of Lvov.
The embassy will make every effort to save the lives of the victims, including providing medicines and consulting with leading doctors of Ukraine, the ambassador said.
Currently, measures are being taken to send the body of the deceased home as soon as possible.
