Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  Three children who were left without parental care in Novosibirsk and Moscow, Russia, have been repatriated to Uzbekistan, according to the National Social Protection Agency.

Upon arrival, the children were placed at the Social and Legal Assistance Center for Minors under the Tashkent Department of Internal Affairs, after which they were reunited with their parents.

Reports indicate that the minors had traveled to Russia under a power of attorney issued by a close relative of their parents. However, as the power of attorney lacks legal validity in Russia, the children were officially recognized as being without parental care.

Uzbekistan’s Inson social service centers provide support to returned children and their families, ensuring their reintegration and well-being.
