Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The number of compatriot investors included in the "Golden Notebook" of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea has grown to 83, Dunyo news agency reported.

On 5-6 September, during a working trip to the cities of Gwangju and Mokpo, employees of the Embassy, together with colleagues from the representative office of the Agency for External Labor Migration under the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations of Uzbekistan in the city of Gwangju, met with more than 60 fellow citizens working in these cities.

During the visit, the working and living conditions of Uzbek citizens were studied. The participants were informed in detail about the positive changes in all spheres of life in our country.

Also, during the meetings, detailed explanations were given about the meeting held on 17 August by the President of Uzbekistan on the creation of decent conditions for citizens working abroad and systematic work with them, as well as on benefits and preferences for those who plan to start a business in our country.

As a result of the meetings, 12 compatriots made proposals to create their own business in Uzbekistan for an investment of US$1.44 million.

Thus, the total number of investors included in the "Golden Notebook" of the Embassy has reached 83 people with a total investment of US$10,838,000.
