Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Zamin Foundation announced the launch of the Yashil zamin environmental project.

The project is aimed at creating green barriers around the cities of Uzbekistan, introducing a systematic approach to gardening, preserving and creating new green areas, digitalizing urban gardening, and gradually creating a register of trees. 

The partners of the Yashil zamin project are the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection, the State Forestry Committee, the Khokimiyat of the city of Tashkent, the Khokimiyat of Syrdarya region, UNECE, UNDP.

The Fund is confident that this project, by combining the efforts of the whole society, will help to achieve the necessary degree of landscaping for comfortable living in cities.
