Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, paid a working visit to Astana on 12-14 October.
On 13 October, the head of Uzbekistan spoke at the summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia, put forward important initiatives on cooperation in the field of trade and the economy, transport and logistics, ecology, security, as well as on the Afghan issue.
On 14 October, at a meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of States, issues of developing multilateral cooperation, political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian interaction within the organization were considered.
The summit "Central Asia - Russia" was also held.
At the end of the visit, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov saw off the head of our state at the Astana International Airport.
The President of our country returned to Tashkent.
