Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 6 January, a round table was held in the Senate building on the national competition Gender Equality Activist with the participation of members of the Republican Commission.

At the event, the participants discussed the results of the territorial stage of the competition.

In particular, the winners in the main nominations of the competition were:

- in the nomination "The most active territorial state body (organization) in ensuring gender equality" - 15 organizations;

- in the nomination "The most active district (city) state body (organization) in ensuring gender equality" - 9 organizations;

- in the nomination "The most active district (city) khokimiyat in ensuring gender equality" - 10 khokimiyats;

- in the nomination "The most active NGO in ensuring gender equality" - 10 NGO;

– in the nomination “The most active business entity in ensuring gender equality” – 8 business entities. According to additional nominations of the competition, the following entered the republican stage:

- in the nomination "The best television program aimed at promoting gender equality" - 6 organizations;

- in the nomination "The best website or portal on the Internet aimed at promoting gender equality" - 4 organizations;

- in the nomination "The best publication on the promotion of gender equality" - 5 organizations.

As noted, the winners of the competition were awarded with memorable gifts. The winners of the territorial stage compete with each other at the republican stage.
