Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An award ceremony for the winners of the Save Energy - 2021 competition, held by the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan jointly with LUKOIL, was held. The competition was aimed at popularizing the topic of energy saving and energy efficiency. In total, over 50 works were submitted in three nominations.

Considering the large number of interesting works, in order to motivate and stimulate the participants, the jury of the competition decided to divide the prizes and award two winners in each nomination.

In the nomination "Best Video", Avliyokulov Nafisa and Ismoilov Shokhjakhon were awarded with the certificates worth 10,000,000 soums each.

Soliev Muslimbek and Khudaykulov Anvar won in the nomination "Best Social Banner" and were awarded certificates worth 7,500,000 soums each.

Vladimir Chernolutskiy and journalist Iroda Toshmatova were recognized as winners in the "Best Article" nomination, who received certificates worth 5,000,000 soums each.

The main criterion for choosing the winners was the availability, originality and objectivity of coverage of the topic of energy saving and energy efficiency in the press and social networks.

The competition attracted great attention of the public and, in particular, young people to the issues of the need to ensure the preservation of natural resources and to stimulate the population to efficiently and economically use energy resources.
