Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 28 December, the Senate of the Oliy Majlis hosted an award ceremony for the winners of the republican stage of the Best Social Initiative review competition.

The congratulations of the Chairman of the Senate Tanzila Narbayeva were read to the winners of the republican stage of the competition.

It was noted that the main purpose of this competition is to actively promote and stimulate the implementation of social initiatives by state bodies, the non-state sector and citizens.

In total, 2950 participants competed at the district (city) stage of the competition, and 732 participants competed at the regional stage in the following nominations:

“The best state body that has shown social initiative”;

"The best non-governmental non-profit organization that has shown social initiative";

“The best business entity that has shown social initiative”;

"The best citizen who showed social initiative";

"The best khokimiyat that showed social initiative."

The final stage was attended by khokimiyats, government bodies, non-governmental non-profit organizations, business entities and individuals from 14 regions of our country, who achieved high results, showed initiative in the development of society, won in support of socially unprotected segments of the population.

The Republican commission, consisting of members of the Senate, representatives of ministries and departments, determined the winners who took 1st, 2nd, 3rd places in 5 nominations.

According to the results of the competition in the nomination "The best business entity that showed social initiative", 1st place went to the family enterprise "Usta Yusufjon nakkosh" of Furkat district of Fergana region, 2nd place - to the private enterprise "Turon" in Farish district of Jizzakh region, 3rd place - LLC " Nukus evrostroy" in the city of Nukus of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and LLC "INNO SANJAR" in Navoi region.

In the nomination “The best non-governmental non-profit organization that has shown social initiative”, the 1st place was taken by the Federation of Intellectual Trainers of Uzbekistan, representing Tashkent region, the 2nd place was taken by the department of the Society of the Disabled in Pakhtakor district of Jizzakh region, the 3rd place was taken by Syrdarya regional branch of the non-state International Charitable Foundation “Soglom avlod uchun ".

The medical association of Vabkent district of Bukhara region was recognized as the winner in the nomination “The best state body that showed a social initiative”.

In the nomination "The best citizen who showed social initiative" 1st place was awarded to a resident of Shavat district of Khorezm region Bahodir Ruzmetov, 2nd place to a resident of Kyzyrik district of Surkhandarya region Dilnoza Ochildiyeva, 3rd place to a resident of the city of Kattakurgan of Samarkand region Shahzoda Ishonkulova, as well as a resident of the Kuva district of the Fergana region went to Zohidjon Khakimov.

In addition, in the nomination “The best khokimiyat that showed social initiative”, the 1st place was taken by the khokimiyat of Almazar district of the city of Tashkent, the 2nd place was taken by the khokimiyat of Shirin district of Syrdarya region, and the 3rd place was taken by the khokimiyat of Karshi district of Kashkadarya region.

The winners were awarded diplomas of I, II, III degrees and valuable gifts from the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and partner organizations.
