The volume of industrial production of special zones totaled 27.4 trillion soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 1 July 2022, Uzbekistan has 20 special economic zones (SEZ), 116 directorates of small industrial zones (SIZ), 12 technoparks and 467 clusters, which included: 505 enterprises in SEZ, SIZ – 1 830, technoparks - 58 and clusters - 471 enterprises.

The volume of industrial production for the specified period totaled 27.4 trillion soums, including: in the SEZ – 11.97 trillion soums, SIZ – 2.02 trillion soums, technoparks - 234.1 billion soums and clusters – 13.17 trillion soums. The largest volume of industrial production was recorded in clusters – 13 171.2 billion soums.

In January-June 2021, the total volume of industrial production amounted to 18.33 trillion soums, including: in the SEZ – 7.44 trillion soums, SIZ – 1.57 trillion soums, technology parks - 188.3 billion soums and clusters – 9.13 trillion soums.

The volume of construction work performed on its own, totaled 26.5 billion soums, including: in the SEZ - 6.1 billion soums, SIZ - 15.9 billion soums, technology parks - 4.3 billion soums, clusters - 0.2 billion soums The largest volume of construction work performed on its own was recorded at enterprises included in the SIZ - 15.9 billion soums.

The volume of investments in fixed assets from all sources of financing totaled 2.21 trillion soums, of which: in the SEZ – 1.23 trillion soums, SIZ - 246.3 billion soums, technology parks - 23.4 billion and clusters - 712.0 billion soums.

In January-June 2021, the volume of investments in fixed assets from all sources of financing totaled 1.93 trillion soums, of which: in the SEZ – 1.36 trillion soums, SIZ - 102.9 billion soums, technology parks - 11.6 billion soums and clusters - 451.8 billion soums.

Profit (loss (-)) before income tax totaled 1.04 trillion soums, including, respectively: profit in SIZ - 36.5 billion soums, technology parks - 24.2 billion soums, SEZ - 913.1 billion soumsand clusters - 68.9 billion soums.

In January-June 2021, the amount of profit (loss) of enterprises before income tax totaled 389.9 billion soums, including: in the SEZ - -257.9 billion soums, SIZ- 50.9 billion soums, technoparks - 6.5 billion soums and clusters - 590.4 billion soums.

Accounts receivable for the specified period totaled 13.06 trillion soums, including: in the SEZ – 5.73 trillion  soums, SIZ - 622.7 billion soums, technology parks - 127.0 billion soums and clusters - 6578.0 billion soums. Accounts payable for the same period totaled 13.23 trillion soums, including: in the SEZ – 6.18 trillion soums, SIZ – 1.01 trillion soums, technology parks - 149.9 billion soums and clusters – 5.88 trillion soums.

As of 1 July 2021, the receivables of enterprises totaled 8.03 trillion soums, including: in the SEZ – 3.8 trillion soums, SIZ- 535.0 billion soums, technology parks - 37.7 billion soums and clusters – 3.65 trillion soums; accounts payable for the same period totaled 10.45 trillion soums, including: in the SEZ – 5.2 trillion soums, SIZ- 1.07 trillion soums, technology parks - 65.3 billion soums and clusters – 4.11 trillion soums.

The volume of shipped products (goods and services) outside the republic (export) totaled 5.7 trillion soums, including: in the SEZ – 2.17 trillion soums, SIZ - 507.8 billion soums, technology parks - 60.9 billion soums and clusters – 2.96 trillion soums.
