The volume of gold and foreign exchange reserves of Uzbekistan exceeded US$32.9 billion.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 1 November 2023, the volume of gold and foreign exchange reserves of Uzbekistan exceeded US$32.9 billion, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan reports.

In October, Uzbekistan’s reserves increased by more than US$1.86 billion.

The regulator notes that Uzbekistan’s foreign exchange reserves exceeded US$8.38 billion, which is US$988 million more than at the beginning of October 2023.

Uzbekistan’s gold reserves at the beginning of November exceeded US$23.97 billion. Compared to the beginning of October 2023, the country’s gold reserves increased by US$876.9 million.

The physical volume of gold in August decreased by 2.44% - 12 million troy ounces.
