Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 17:00, 81.39% of citizens voted in the referendum on the Constitution of Uzbekistan in new edition. This was announced at a briefing by Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission Bakhrom Kuchkarov.
According to the CEC of Uzbekistan, 15,802,095 registered voters have voted so far.
It should be reminded that there are 10,758 referendum polling stations across the country. To date, most of the 55 polling stations have been opened in diplomatic and other representations of Uzbekistan abroad.
