Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At 15:05, on 1 March 2022, the third special aircraft of Uzbekistan Airways took off from the Polish city of Katowice with 253 citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan evacuated from Ukraine. 

Among them - 68 women, 54 children and 12 babies. Estimated time of arrival in Tashkent is 20:45.

The total number of citizens of Uzbekistan evacuated from Ukraine through the territory of Poland amounted to 762 people.

Two more evacuation flights are expected today.

Citizens of Uzbekistan continue to arrive at the Karchova checkpoint, who will also soon be returned to their homeland.
