The testing procedure for general education subjects has been clarified

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution “On introducing amendments and additions to some resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers aimed at creating favorable conditions for the use of digital services,” Norma reports.

From 1 December 2020, a national test system has been introduced to assess the level of knowledge of general education subjects in a set of subjects corresponding to bachelor's degree areas.

Applications for participation in testing will be accepted in electronic form through my.gov.uz.

A certificate with a QR code indicating the level of knowledge in a general education subject will be sent within one day from the date of announcement of the test results.

Certificates of levels A+, A, B+, B, C+, C are issued.

Test results are calculated according to the international methodology - the Rasch model, according to which when typing:
over 70 points are assigned level A+;
65-69.9 points – level A;
60-64.9 points – level B+;
55-59.9 points – level B;
50-54.9 points – level C+;
46-49.9 points – level C.

The certificate is issued for a period of 3 years. At the same time, applicants with a certificate of level A+ and A are counted the maximum score on tests in the corresponding subject upon admission to an undergraduate degree at the university; for applicants with a certificate of other levels, points are counted in proportion to the maximum score.

In compulsory subjects, applicants who have a national certificate receive the maximum score.
