Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The role of industry specialists in ensuring the quality of products in the republic, developing existing standards in the fund, harmonizing them with international standards is important.

In order to stimulate and increase the activity of technical committees and improve work on standardization in the field of oil and gas production, increase efficiency at the national and international levels, the technical committee for standardization TKS 9 Uzneftegazmakhsulot under Uzbekneftegaz was reorganized.

The Committee carries out its activities based on the requirements of the regulation "On the procedure for organizing the activities of technical committees for standardization", approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 14 March 2019 No. 220.

The Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Transport, the Uzstandart agency, the Federation of Consumer Rights Protection Societies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State Inspection Uzneftegazinspektsiya, Uztransgaz JSC, Khududgaztaminot JSC and a number of other interested organizations are a member of the TKS 9 Uzneftegazmakhsulot Technical Committee under Uzbekneftegaz JSC ".

The main tasks and goals of the technical committee TKS 9 "Uzneftegazmakhsulot" are:

- organization of work on the adoption of international standards as state standards of the Republic of Uzbekistan, development of new state standards, revision and amendment of existing state standards and ensuring their compliance with international requirements and relevance;

- protecting the interests of enterprises producing and processing oil and gas products, as well as consumers of these products when creating regulatory documents harmonized with international standards;

- participation in ensuring the competitiveness of manufactured products within the framework of the implementation of international best practices in the development, adoption, revision of standards, which establish progressive requirements for the capabilities of existing technologies;

- in ensuring and improving the relevance and accessibility of the regulatory framework of the oil and gas industry.

In the Technical Committee, the standardization object has fixed the codes of the national classifier (OKC) of the following standards:

- 75.020 - Extraction and processing of oil and natural gas;

- 75.040 - Oil;

- 75.060 - Natural gas;

- 75.080 - Petroleum products.
