Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution “On measures to fundamentally improve the system of examination, training, retraining and advanced training of drivers of motor vehicles.”
Only persons with higher education in the field of motor transport are admitted to the training centers as teachers in the subjects "Design and operation of motor vehicles and urban electric vehicles", "Rules of the road", "Safe driving of motor vehicles" and "Fundamentals of road safety".
Persons with a higher or specialized secondary medical education or a qualification certificate of an instructor (paramedic) in the specialty "Ambulance" are accepted as trainers in first aid in case of an accident.
Training hours for driver training, regardless of the form of training, are planned up to 20 hours a week, up to 4 hours a day. Certificates of advanced driving skills are issued only in electronic form. Every day the amount of practical training in driving vehicles is no more than 8 hours for each instructor.
The practical exams use cars manufactured no more than 5 years ago for category "B" and no more than 10 years for other categories.
The database of animated questions of the theoretical exam of a single sample will include at least 1,000 options.
On 1 January 2023, the automated Unified Information System of the Road Traffic Safety Service will be launched.
