Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A government resolution “On measures for phased implementation of the subject “Education” in general secondary education institutions” was adopted.

According to the resolution, with the combination of the subjects “Approved (Rules of Decency)”, “Sense of Homeland”, “Fundamentals of National Ideas and Spirituality” and “History of World Religions” in institutions of general secondary education, a single subject “Education” will be gradually introduced into practice in 1- 9 classes from 2020/2021, and in grades 10-11 - from the 2021/2022 school year, within the general hours allocated to subjects.

Textbooks and teaching aids on the subject “Education” will be published and delivered to the field before the start of the new school year.

From July 2020 until the start of the new school year for teachers of subjects "Primary Education", "Fundamentals of National Ideas and Spirituality", "History" and "Religious Studies" of general secondary education institutions in centers for retraining and advanced training of public education workers online targeted training courses on the subject "Education" will be organized.

The costs associated with the acquisition and delivery of textbooks and teaching aids for the subject “Education” will be covered by the republican budget and the Republican target book fund under the Ministry of Public Education.

The resolution approved the concept of the subject "Education" for students of institutions of general secondary education.
