Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A government resolution “On additional measures to improve the operation of vehicles with tinted (tinted) windows” was adopted.

According to the document, from 1 October 2021, the state service for issuing a permit to change the color (darkening) of vehicle glass will be provided only through the Single Interactive Public Services Portal (EPIGU).

According to the administrative regulation approved by the resolution, the work on changing (darkening) the color of the glass of vehicles is carried out by the owner of the vehicle independently.

No permission is required to change the color of the rear window of the car to an unlimited level of light transmission (darkening), as well as to change (darken) the color of the upper part of the windshield in the form of a strip of no more than 14 cm.

The permit is issued for a period of 1 year.

Payment for the permit is made by the applicant within 10 days.

A previously issued permit is reissued before its expiration.

There is no fee for the provision of public services for reissuing a permit through the EPIGU.
