Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Government resolution “On measures to introduce a system of preschool education and upbringing and secondary general education for children undergoing treatment at the Center for Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Clinical immunology” was adopted.

According to the resolution, for the effective organization of the processes of preschool education and upbringing, as well as secondary general education of children being treated at the Center for Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Clinical Immunology, the state educational institution Mehrli Maktab was established.

The Mehrli Maktab institution has the status of a legal entity and was established under the Ministry of Public Education.

The following preschool groups can function in "Mehrli Maktab":

preschool educational hospital groups - groups created in medical institutions for children from 2 to 7 years old who are on inpatient treatment, who, for health reasons, cannot attend preschool educational organizations;

play groups for young children - groups organized in stationary medical institutions for children from 1.5 to 2 years old. In them, educational and control work is organized with the active participation of parents;

preschool educational hospital playgroups for young children.

Admission of patients to preschool hospital groups is carried out on the basis of the lists provided by Mehrli Maktab.

The Center provides its patients with general secondary education in grades 1-11 based on a specially designed curriculum.

The duration of the lesson in grades 1-4 of primary education (school) will be 35 minutes, in grades 5-11 - 40 minutes.

At the same time, one-day classes should not exceed 3 hours in grades 1-4 and 4 hours in grades 5-11.

The duration of the training week is 5 days.
